Perez: ‘Fundamental' issue held Racing Point back

Sergio Perez believes a 'fundamental' problem with Racing Point's RP19 cost them performance in 2019. In what was the team's first full season in F1 after Lawrence Stroll's consortium bought the bankrupt Force India in August 2018, Racing Point would secure P7 in the Constructors' Championship, with Lance Stroll scoring their best finish with P4 in Germany.
