Robert Kubica moving closer to move to Alfa Romeo as development driver

Robert Kubica is set to complete a move to Alfa Romeo to be their development driver for the 2020 season. The 35-year-old has spoken to other teams about a similar type of roles but looks to have reached an agreement with the team who finished 8th in 2019. The role which the Polish driver would undertake would involve helping to develop a new simulator, something which would suit him well having used Mercedes’ F1 simulator before he came back to drive for Renault and Williams.
