Jan.7 Canada GP promoter Francois Dumontier has defended Lance Stroll, as the young Canadian prepares for his second season with his billionaire father's F1 team. Stroll, whose father is Lawrence Stroll who took over the financially flailing Force India team in 2018, admits he must up his game against teammate Sergio Perez at Racing Point this year. "It's simple. He (Perez) had a good second half of the season and I didn't," Stroll, 21, told La Presse. But he is predicting better for 2020.
