Ferrari adds Arthur Leclerc to young driver scheme

Ferrari has recruited Arthur Leclerc, younger driver of two-time Formula 1 race winner Charles, to its young driver scheme. Leclerc, 19, was part of the Sauber Junior Team during 2019 and placed third in the German Formula 4 championship. For 2020 Leclerc will switch to the Formula Regional European Championship, competing for Prema, alongside existing Ferrari junior Gianluca Petecof. Ferrari has also added 15-year-old Swedish racer Dino Beganovic to its ranks. Beganovic was recommended to Ferrari by Tony Kart – the organisation that acts as a scout for the team – and he will race in Italian and German Formula 4 this year. “It’s been a busy winter for the Ferrari...
