Saudi Arabia building circuit to host F1 races in 2023

Saudi Arabia has confirmed plans that it intends to build a 'world-class' facility and will be ready to host Formula 1 racing from the 2023 season. Reports emerged earlier in the week that Formula 1 is close to agreeing a £50million-a-year deal with Saudi Arabia to bring another race to the Middle East alongside Bahrain and Abu Dhabi. And those plans seem to be very much in the pipeline as Saudi Arabia unveiled a race track to form part of the state-of-the-art entertainment and sports complex called Qiddiyah, which is situated in the country's capital, Riyadh.
