Miami race organisers make fresh changers to halt opposition
It looks destined that Miami will host a Formula 1 race, sooner rather than later, but race organisers have been forced to alter plans for the race in order to halt the opposition to the race. The original plans for a race in downtown Miami were rejected and now a race around the stadium home to the NFL team the Miami Dolphins hit a roadblock. The race has received opposition with locals voicing their concerns regarding noise, air pollution and disruption. However, in a statement, Formula 1 confirmed that they had consulted relevant parties and have a new proposed track layout.
