FIA and F1 sign United Nations’ Sports for Climate Action Framework

The FIA and Formula 1 have signed the United Nations’ Sports for Climate Action Framework as the sport works towards being net-zero carbon by the year 2030. To be considered to sign the framework the organisation must meet five criteria, ranging from educating on climate action to reduce their overall climate impact. The FIA and F1's aim to be net-zero carbon helps meet all of the factors and it marks an important moment in the impact of sport on the battle against climate change.
