F1, FIA sign UN’s Sports for Climate Action Framework

Formula 1 and the FIA have become the latest signatories of the United Nations’ Sports for Climate Action Framework, underlining its commitment to becoming more environmentally conscious in the future. F1 announced last November it would be introducing new measures to make the sport carbon neutral by 2030, as well as releasing detailed information about its current emissions. Further steps have been taken with the signing of the UN’s programme which “aims at supporting and guiding sports actors in achieving global climate change goals”.
