Ahead of Renault's 2020 car presentation, the team's president Jerome Stoll has spoken about the upcoming season for the French works team, saying they hope to "recapture the positive momentum" they had before last season. Since coming back as a works team in 2016, Renault had been gradually improving each year, with 2018 being the season where they finished on top of midfield in fourth place.
