Daniil Kvyat believes his car has improved over the winter break after completing the first week of F1 testing in Barcelona. On the combined timesheets, Kvyat placed his AlphaTauri in seventh place in a compact midfield.  Particularly during the first week, testing times are almost impossible to get a real indication of pace and performance because it's unclear exactly what runs each team are doing.
