Mercedes' sandbagging claims wrong, say Ferrari

Ferrari boss, Mattia Binotto, has said Mercedes are wrong to suggest that the Scuderia have been sandbagging in pre-season testing. The Silver Arrows concluded after the first test that Ferrari had put the heavy sandbags on their SF1000 as they remained well clear of the top of the timesheet in Barcelona. But Binotto has said that Mercedes have come to the wrong conclusion following their post-test investigations. 'Mercedes seems to be very much aware of what we are doing, but it's not correct,' Binotto said when asked by Motorsport.com about Mercedes' claims of sandbagging. 'We believe that we are not the fastest car at the moment, so I think on lap time we will be behind [at] the start...
