LIVE | Coronavirus updates in Australia as McLaren pull out of F1 race
For some time, Formula 1's first race of the season has been in doubt due to the global coronavirus outbreak. The Australian Grand Prix is due to take place this weekend but without McLaren. McLaren have confirmed neither Carlos Sainz or Lando Norris will race this weekend after a team member tested positive for the virus. As it stands, the Grand Prix is due to take place on Sunday 15th March. The first free practice session is due to be held on Friday at 1am UK time. We'll update the liveblog below to keep up to date with all the latest developments regarding the coronavirus in Australia.
