Seidl warns of team ‘co-operation' to defy budget cap

McLaren team boss Andreas Seidl has again urged Formula 1 bosses to keep an eye on 'co-operation' between teams to prevent anyone gaining an advantage by pooling resources. Next season Formula 1 will be operating under a budget cap. The sport's bosses and the teams have agreed to a $175million cost cap, although not all the bills are covered by it. Drivers salaries, bonuses, engine development and production, marketing, F1 entry fees and the salaries of the team's top three employees are not included in the cap.
