Binotto: Delay to 2021 regs not 'an easy decision' for Ferrari

Ferrari boss Mattia Binotto admits his team's decision to back a delay of the 2021 regulations did not come easily as it puts the Scuderia at a disadvantage. The onslaught of the global coronavirus crisis has put F1 on standby indefinitely, a situation that will inevitably impact the sport and the teams' revenue. In a bid to contain costs in light of the financial shortfall, Formula 1 will carry over its current technical rules into 2021 and delay the scheduled regulation overhaul until 2022.
