FIA to use F1 return as blueprint for other series

Formula 1's return to action in July will act as a blueprint for other motorsport series sanctioned by the FIA on how to run under Covid-19 restrictions, according to governing body president Jean Todt. In a video message to FIA colleagues, stakeholders and organisers, Todt said F1's return, which is currently scheduled for July 5 with a double-header Austrian Grand Prix, would be done in a way that ensures everyone's safety and that the lessons learned from it would be shared with other series and circuits.
