OFFICIAL: Ricciardo leaves Renault and will drive for McLaren from 2021

It's finally been announced: Daniel Ricciardo will drive for McLaren from 2021. After a long period of rumours that Ricciardo will go to another team, the decision is made and he exchanges Renault for McLaren. Promising results at Red Bull Daniel Ricciardo started his F1 career with the Red Bull Racing junior team, Toro Rosso. After a couple of years he was allowed to try it with the big team, where he made a big impression by defeating world champion Sebastian Vettel at the same time. In the years that followed he managed to find his place at Red Bull, until Dutchman Max Verstappen joined the team.
