Fernando Alonso is mentally prepared to make a sensational Formula 1 comeback with his old team Renault, according to his former boss Flavio Briatore. Briatore, who combined with Alonso to win consecutive constructor's and driver's titles in 2005 and 2006 at the Enstone outfit, believes he is in the right frame of mind to compete in F1 once again. 'Fernando is motivated, a year out of F1 has done him well,' he told Gazzetta dello Sport. 'He has detoxified, I see him more serene and he is ready to return.
