Silverstone moves to August on provisional calendar
The British Grand Prix, or in this case grands prix, at Silverstone have been moved to early August on the provisional F1 calendar. With the United Kingdom government imposing a 14-day quarantine on all travellers entering the country, the fate of the British Grand Prix was in the balance only for Prime Minister Boris Johnson to step in. According to The Times, the PM personally intervened on behalf on the grand prix although talks continue. The delay in a definite answer means Silverstone won't be able to take its initial July dates, instead being pushed back to 2 and 9th of August.
