The promoters of the Mexican Grand Prix expect their Formula 1 race will be able to go ahead as planned on its original date. On Tuesday, F1 championship bosses unveiled the early plans for its revised 2020 calendar, confirming eight European-based rounds would be kicked off with back-to-back behind closed doors races in Austria in early July. The Red Bull Ring rounds will be followed up with the Hungarian Grand Prix on July 16, a second double-header event at Silverstone at the start of August, before further races in Spain, Belgium and Italy across August and early September.
