‘Mercedes interest in Vettel is not lip service'

Mercedes saying it 'cannot ignore' Sebastian Vettel's Ferrari exit was 'not lip service' but a genuine response to the German's news, says Toto Wolff. Last month Vettel ignited the 2021 driver market when he announced he would be leaving Ferrari at the end of this year's championship. Wolff responded to the news by telling the world that he 'cannot ignore' the fact that Vettel will be a free agent come 2021. However, in the days after he made it clear that the Ferrari driver is not really an option for Mercedes.
