W Series season cancelled, focus on 2021

The all-female W Series season has been cancelled for 2020, with the focus now on creating a 'bigger and better' 2021. The category was launched last year with inaugural winner Jamie Chadwick now part the Williams team as a development driver. It also now awards points towards an F1 superlicence, a feature that was set to come in for the first time as part of the 2020 season, but all focus has now been switched to 2021. The season was due to start last weekend in St Petersburg.
