Italian Grand Prix to extend its contract until 2025

The Italian Grand Prix has received a one-year contract extension and seems to have retained its September 6 date, Monza mayor Dario Allevi has revealed. The Italian Grand Prix has been hanging in the balance since Italy has become the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak in Europe. However, the situation has shown signs of improvements in recent weeks. The legendary Monza circuit is located in the Lombardy region where 38 per cent of Italy’s cases have been confirmed.
