Verstappen: 60% of drivers could win a title in a Mercedes

Sixty percent of the drivers on the current grid could win the world title in a Mercedes, according to Red Bull driver Max Verstappen. Mercedes have won the last six constructor's championships, with Lewis Hamilton winning the last three in a row. However, Verstappen feels that the quality of his car has been a large determinant of his success and said that more than half of the drivers in the sport could win it in the same machinery. “60 percent of Formula 1 drivers could win the championship in a Mercedes, but not all 20 drivers could do it,' he told Ziggo Sport.
