Video: How a £50 eBay purchase helped Mercedes fight coronavirus

The Mercedes Formula 1 team have released a new video, detailing how the High Performance Powertrains division has been helping fight the COVID-19 pandemic. The video, which is presented by soon-to-be-departing HPP boss Andy Cowell, explains how the Brixworth factory pivoted from manufacturing power units for the F1 team to Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) devices for the British government. Starting with an old CPAP device they bought for £50 on eBay, the team manufactured 10,000 of their own design to help the NHS. Watch the full fascinating video below:
