Allison: "Testing was crucial to learn how to deal with the new measures"

Formula 1 will start again in a week and a half. On Friday 3 July the first free practice sessions of 2020 will take place on the Austrian Red Bull Ring. Many teams chose to test with older cars to get used to the new corona measures. Paranoid Technical director of Mercedes James Allison said that teams are left "utterly paranoid" to ensure that the changes in working procedures do not harm the ultimate performance of the team. Adding tests was therefore crucial according to him.
