Lewis Hamilton has to report to the race management on Saturday evening after qualifying and in theory this could have major consequences for the Mercedes driver. He will be examined for his two fast laps in Q3. In the first fast lap he will be examined for exceeding the track limits in turn 10. This is the last turn before the straight. Other years the drivers were kept inboard here with high kerbstones. Because this caused too much damage, an electronic detection system has been installed instead.
