McLaren – Our best qualifying performance in six years

The McLaren F1 team had a strong qualification session as both their drivers qualified in the top 10 positions. This was a great result for the Woking-based team after finishing 'best of the rest' in fourth position in the constructors' championship in 2019. Lando Norris qualified in a career-best fourth position as he finished ahead of a Red Bull driver and both Ferrari drivers. The young Briton was elated with his performance and said: “I’m very happy, this was my best qualifying position ever, so it’s a big achievement for myself but also for the team.
