Fernando Alonso to return to Formula 1 in 2021

Fernando Alonso is set to be announced by Renault as their second driver for the 2021 F1 season, confirming the Spaniard’s return to the sport after leaving in 2018. The French team had been looking for a partner for Esteban Ocon after Daniel Ricciardo opted not to sign a new deal with them, instead switching teams to McLaren where he will team with Lando Norris.
