Renault tease Fernando Alonso arrival
Renault are expected to announce the signing of Fernando Alonso for the 2021 Formula 1 season imminently. Rumours have been wild over a potential F1 return for Alonso ever since he decided to sit out the 2019 season. Article continues under video McLaren, Ferrari, Red Bull, Racing Point and Mercedes have all been linked with the Spaniard. The move of Daniel Ricciardo to McLaren for 2021 opened the door to a reunion with the team he won both the 2005 and 2006 titles with, and Renault has now all but confirmed the famous reunion.
