Binotto: It’s not by sacking people that you make a car faster

Ferrari boss Mattia Binotto concedes his team needs to show significant improvement after a rough start to the 2020 Formula 1 season, but maintains there is no need for personnel changes. Second in the 2019 constructor's championship with nine poles and three victories, the first three races of the new year have seen the Scuderia reduced to a shell of their former selves, sitting fifth in the standings with just 27 points. And yet while the pressure to turn things around is immense, Binotto maintains his team has no choice but to be patient. “After three races, it’s clear that we are in worse shape than we expected and we need to react without delay,” he said in his post-race debrief...
