Renault’s Ricciardo – Hungarian GP “was quite a busy race”

Renault DP Wold F1 Team’s Daniel Ricciardo has described the Hungarian Grand Prix as “quite a busy race”. The Australian finished in eighth place, after starting eleventh. Starting on Pirelli’s intermediate tyres due to the rain which had fallen prior to the start of the race, Ricciardo was able to gain two places in the opening laps. He pitted on lap four, along with the majority of the field, changing on to the medium compound. Ricciardo managed to gain several places while others around him pitted for fresh rubber, he himself stopping for a new set of mediums on lap 43.
