Perez returns inconclusive Covid-19 test, awaiting re-test result

Racing Point’s Sergio Perez was excused from Thursday’s media activities ahead of Formula 1's British Grand Prix after he returned an inconclusive Covid-19 test. All Formula 1 personnel classified as Profile 1 Attendees have to undergo regular testing for Covid-19 and are also checked for other symptoms, such as high temperatures or a recurrent cough. Under Closed Events the FIA has arranged for each team’s drivers to be present in 10 separate press conferences which take place across Thursday afternoon, beginning with Williams and concluding with Mercedes.
