Button: "Speed of Red Bull was just better than that of Mercedes"

Red Bull Racing's alternative strategy during the second Grand Prix at Silverstone turned out to be the key to Max Verstappen's victory. The Dutchman had great racing speed compared to the Mercedes drivers, which allowed Red Bull to take victory. According to former F1-driver Jenson Button the race went perfectly for Red Bull. "It really was a flawless race. The speed of Red Bull was just better than Mercedes," he explained at Sky Sports. "However, if Red Bull had had the same strategy as Mercedes, overtaking would have been a lot harder for Verstappen.
