No quick Indy 500 return for Alonso: ''Then I'd miss qualifying''

Fernando Alonso will not combine Formula 1 with a participation in the Indy 500 in 2021 and 2022, as the Spanish driver has said, now that he is preparing for the Indy 500 of 2020. ''I think I'm approaching this race in a way that I have to assume I won't be here for the next two years. If I do want to come, I'll miss the qualifying weekend, if I want it at all," says Alonso according to Motorsportweek.com. The Spaniard is still active for the McLaren team this year.
