Grosjean sees KERS as the replacement to party mode

Different engine modes will be banned from the Belgian Grand Prix and therefore it is expected that there will be less overtaking opportunities during the races. Romain Grosjean has come up with an idea for this, as he wants to reintroduce the KERS system. Abolishment of party mode From the Belgian Grand Prix onwards, party mode will be banned on cars in Formula 1. Sometimes these higher engine modes will also be used when overtaking during the race. By abolishing these, some drivers, such as Valtteri Bottas, think that there will be less overtaking during the races.
