Furious Russell ‘fears crash' amid qualifying mess

George Russell fears there will be a crash between cars during qualifying at future events after drivers once more impeded each other at the Italian Grand Prix on Saturday. At the end of Q1, a number of drivers including Russell failed to improve on their fastest lap times due to being grouped together with a number of fellow competitors. With the slipstream being so powerful around Monza, drivers were eager to reap the benefits of the tow in qualifying and advance further forward. However, Russell was eliminated in Q1 after he was caught up in the mix with other drivers and says a crash is inevitable if a solution is not found.
