Sainz realistic: "We should be happy with the second place"

Carlos Sainz achieved a surprising second place for the Italian Grand Prix. The Spaniard was very close to race winner Pierre Gasly but was unable to catch up with the Frenchman in the end. The McLaren driver had to settle for second place and will be feeling a bit disappointed despite it being his best-ever F1 race finish.  "I think we should be happy with second place. I really can't believe we were fighting for victory. With a normal race I would have been happy with second place, when Lewis just drives in front of us.
