Mclaren Expecting ‘New Normal’ In F1 From 2022

Mclaren team principal Andreas Seidl has said he is confident that we will see a “new normal” in Formula One from 2022 onwards, with the team being more competitive and F1 becoming consistently more entertaining across the grid. “I am absolutely convinced that with what comes from 2022, with the budget cap, with another technical regulation where we should get closer to each other on the track, we will do everything to have [Grand Prix like Monza] more often or to hopefully have a new normal in Formula 1,” Seidl said in an interview with Motorsport-Total.com.
