Red flag: Norris at high speed against the wall at Mugello

Lando Norris pushed the limits in the second free practice session and found out quickly that the Mugello circuit is not forgiving. He touched the gravel with his wheels and lost control. He came into contact with the concrete wall at a fairly high speed. Norris just started his first fast lap on the soft tyre. Norris was clearly looking for the limit and came out of turn five a little too wide. The gravel trap immediately punished this mistake and he shot off the track at high speed.
