Formula 1 carbon-neutral initiative "extremely important" for Alpine

New Renault CEO Luca de Meo has said he will ensure Alpine is at the forefront of an "extremely important" initiative to push Formula 1 into a carbon-neutral position. The sport launched a plan to become carbon-neutral by 2030 in order to equalise the effect the sport has on the environment during race weekends, with the technical department at Formula 1 already working on a carbon-neutral fuel.
