Williams was moved: "I didn't realise it would have such an impact"
With the takeover of Williams by Dorilton Capital earlier this month, Claire Williams' role as team boss also came to an end. For about 7,5 years she fulfilled this role in the team founded by her father Frank and Patrick Head in 1978. These were not Williams' best years under Claire's reign. In 2014 and 2015 the team had a short revival with Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa and came third in the constructors championship. Since then it has only been downhill and 2018 and 2019 were the worst years in Williams' long history.
