Formula E achieves net zero carbon footprint since inception

Formula E has become the first sport in the world to achieve net zero carbon emissions since its inception. The sport announced the achievement at the start of Climate Week NYC 2020 and achieved the milestone using a three-step approach of "effective measurement of carbon output, prioritising reducing its footprint and offsetting remaining unavoidable emissions".
