"Schumacher can withstand the pressure, as he proved in junior classes"

If it were up to AlphaTauri team boss Franz Tost, Mick Schumacher would make his Formula 1 debut in 2021. The son of seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher is currently leading the Formula 2 championship and seems to be aiming for a seat in Alfa Romeo or Haas F1. Dealing with the pressure Tost says that Schumacher has become very mature. "I am very much looking forward to him and I hope he will drive in Formula 1 next year. He has had many successes in recent years and is currently in the lead in F2. I can only keep my fingers crossed for him", said Tost at the German Sport 1.
