Seidl satisfied with McLaren's advance: "We didn’t expect that before the season"

Andreas Seidl, team boss of McLaren, is happy with the steps his team has taken in recent years. The team is now reaping the benefits of the reconstruction that was started after a number of disappointing seasons. The team from Woking is now third in the constructors' championship, which is already a step forward compared to last year. Then the race stable finished fourth. Despite fierce competition from Racing Point, Renault and Ferrari, the team has managed to fight its way up the ladder.
