Haas open to ‘helping' Ferrari with Schumi FP1 run

Guenther Steiner is 'open' to putting Mick Schumacher, or another Ferrari junior, in the car during an FP1 session if it 'helps' Ferrari. Although the German, the son of seven-time F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher, is being linked to Alfa Romeo for next year's championship, that doesn't mean Haas won't be involved in his development. Both teams are powered by Ferrari and could do a deal with the Scuderia to run one of its youngsters in Formula 1 as the Italian stables debates who to promote.
