Formula 1 drivers have been warned that they must respect track limits at the final corner of the Sochi Autodrom at this weekend’s Russian Grand Prix or risk having their lap time erased. In his pre-event notes Formula 1 Race Director Michael Masi warned that drivers will have their times deleted if they run wide at the Turn 2 right-hander. They were also reminded to follow a specific route through the run-off, negotiating the bollards, if they miss the apex of the turn.
