Gasly: Red Bull know I'd do better
Pierre Gasly says that if he was to return to Red Bull then both he and the team know he'd do a better job second time around. Gasly was replaced midway through the 2019 campaign at Red Bull by Alex Albon, and since then their fortunes have been almost polar opposites. Since returning to the ‘B team' Gasly has scored his first podium in Formula 1 with P2 at the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix when the team was known as Toro Rosso, and then under their new identity of AlphaTauri Gasly led his team to victory at the 2020 Italian Grand Prix, his first Formula 1 win. Meanwhile Albon has encountered issues very similar to Gasly's at Red Bull as he struggles to extract the best out of the car....
