Verstappen is not an option for Mercedes: 'Situation does not give us any chance'
Max Verstappen is still in place at Red Bull Racing, but many fans will still dream of a place at Mercedes. However, Toto Wolff is now making it clear that this is not an option at all for now. In 2015 Max Verstappen made his debut in Formula 1 at Toro Rosso. His step into Red Bull's training programme immediately brought him a seat in F1, but hasn't offered him a car to compete for the title in all those years. Those cars will only be given to Mercedes drivers, but Max is not an option for that team now.
