Perez expects clarity on 2021 situation ‘pretty soon'

Sergio Perez says he has yet to put pen to paper on a 2021 deal at any team but expects his future to be settled “pretty soon”. Perez will be replaced at Racing Point by Sebastian Vettel next season but has reiterated his desire to remain in Formula 1. Potential avenues at Alfa Romeo and Haas appear to have diminished though Red Bull chief Helmut Marko suggested earlier this week that Perez was a candidate if it opts not to retain Alexander Albon.
