Results FP1 Portugal: Mercedes at the top, Verstappen completes top three
Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton are back on top as usual after the first free practice. However, the gaps are big. Bottas wins more than three tenths on his team mate and is on P1 six times in a row after the first practice session. Hamilton wins more than three tenths on the number three, Verstappen. The top two, however, set the time on the yellow tire and Verstappen went for the hard white tire.
